Sprint PCS Unveils WiFi Plans
Well, Sprint PCS is the latest wireless carrier to reveal their WiFi plans. It appears they're taking the simple route of copying MCI, and just signing up with Wayport to rebrand Wayport's WiFi as Sprint PCS WiFi. They also signed a similar agreement with Airpath. Sprint PCS still claims they have plans to build out their own WiFi hotspots, but it's unclear exactly how that will work. Also unclear is how they're going to price this, which means, they'll probably default to the same sort of pricing as everyone else.
