Wireless Gear Makers Brace For Slowdown
Nothing all that new here, but News.com is summarizing the various announcements lately pointing to the trend that wireless carriers are buying less networking equipment than expected. Everyone has their reasons (economy, SARS), but it appears that network buildout has slowed down. Of course, this might not be a bad thing, if the carriers are actually (gasp!) working on getting things right for a change, rather than just getting it out, and moving on to the next technology.
