For all the stories about how mobile phones might cause cancer, a Japanese company has come up with a slightly amusing way to use your mobile phone to prevent cancer. Of course, they're not talking about preventing the kinds of cancer normally associated with mobile phone use, but skin cancer. They've built a tiny UV light detector that can be built directly into the mobile phone to let you know when you might be getting a bit too much sunlight.
