GSM To Overtake CDMA In US
It was just a few hours ago that we made fun of a report saying that CDMA2000 networks were dominating the market when it was still very early in the race. As if responding to this question, ABI has put out a report predicting that GSM-based networks are set to pass CDMA networks in the US within 2 years. Of course, we're talking about slightly different definitions of networks here, but for ease of use, I'm dumping CDMA/1x/EV-DO/CDMA2000 in one bucket and TDMA/GSM/GPRS/W-CDMA into another.
