DocoMo Launches Handset With Fingerprint Authentication
DoCoMo is apparently launching a new mobile phone in Japan that includes fingerprint authentication. I've seen these systems on a variety of PDAs lately, so it's no real surprise that they're moving on to phones as well. As phones morph more into being full PDAs that hold all sorts of confidential information, more security features like this one are likely to become common.
