T9 On Steroids?
While most people are familiar with the T9 method of inputting text into a mobile phone, there appears to be increasing competition in the space. The most well-known is probably Digit Wireless, with their "hills and valleys" approach to data input. However, there are a few other companies working on other creative methods for getting data into your handset. Most of them seem to involve making use of the "joystick" or "gamepad" part of the phone, which sounds to me like it would be even more complex.
