A $1 Wager That Warchalking Does Not Exist
Last week we had an article saying that warchalking had died and giving various reasons why we didn't think it was ever really meant to catch on. Now, found over at Politech is the news that someone is saying warchalking was entirely a media phenomenon. To prove his point, he is making a $1 bet that no one uses warchalking. I'd agree that it was probably mostly a media frenzy. I don't think it was ever really even meant to be useful, but was created mostly on a whim for fun. Of course, the media didn't quite get that part.
