Couple Uses Mobile Phone To Track Down Bank Bandits
With all the backlash against mobile phones these days for letting people communicate when they shouldn't, it's good to be reminded that mobile phones also let us do good things that weren't possible before. Of course, it doesn't involve text messaging or camera phones, but a couple who were hit by the escape car from a bank robbery followed the car, and reported to police where the robbers were, even as they switched cars along the route. It's a little unclear from the story if the couple had any idea they were following bank robbers, or if they were just pissed off about the hit-and-run aspect of the accident.
