Reporter Accesses Student Info Network

Well, just as I was complaining about all these stories about insecure wireless networks that never say what information was available, here's the story of a reporter who accessed a local school wireless network and pulled down all sorts of confidential info on students - including grades, phone numbers, photos, and psychological evaluations. The school is now working on fixing the security lapse. Of course, with the way the laws work these days, the reporter should be glad that she hasn't been charged with illegal hacking and thrown in jail.
