Simpay To Let Cell Users Pay For Products
The effort by a number of European carriers to build a single system for mobile payments, the Mobile Payments Services Association (MPSA), has decided that MPSA doesn't have much of a ring to it, so they're unveiling the new corporate branding, calling the company Simpay, with the slogan: "pay for stuff with your mobile." So creative. The idea is to build something of a clearinghouse for smaller mobile transactions (under the $10 mark). They're, of course, hoping to turn it into a standard system that every carrier uses.
