Handspring's New Treo Caters To Carriers
Lots of news about Handspring's new Treo 600 that is designed specifically to attract more carrier interest. Realizing that mobile phone purchasing decisions are often made based on what's directly available from the carrier, Handspring shifted gears recently to make sure their phones were easily customizable from the carrier side. The new device is apparently generating quite a bit of attention, and some are even saying it was the main reason for the Palm merger.
