Junk SMS Messages On The Way Out
There have been too many stories lately that have more or less been accepting that SMS spam is okay. So, it's good to hear that in Australia they're demanding that the wireless carriers crack down on SMS spam. They're even instituting a fine on the carriers if they don't block spam. Of course, fining the carriers might not be the best solution, since spammers will (undoubtedly) figure out ways to hack the system. The real people who should be targeted are the spammers themselves, not the carriers.
