Mobile Spam: Is The Next Plague Upon Us?
We're nowhere close to being able to deal with regular spam and already people are reporting that mobile spam is already a problem. According to this one quick study, nearly 70% of people in the UK claim they've already received some mobile spam. The one bright side (if you can call it that) is that it shouldn't ever get as bad as email spam, since there's a direct cost for each message sent. However, that still doesn't lessen the annoyance factor many people feel, being bothered with useless junk on their mobile phone.
