T-Mobile Ditches Microsoft Smartphone
Back in January, there was a lot of press surrounding the news that T-Mobile would release a Microsoft smartphone. It was seen as a big win for Microsoft (especially following the Sendo mess). However, the "curse of the MS smartphone" has struck again, and T-Mobile has announced they no longer have plans to introduce it. They say that problems with the phone meant there were failure rates that went beyond the acceptable level. While I doubt this will turn into a another Sendo with lawsuits and such, it still looks bad for Microsoft - who may be discovering that their actions in the non-wireless world are coming back to haunt them.
