AT&T Wireless Hits Store Shelves With First EDGE Phone
Well, here's a change. AT&T Wireless is out there selling EDGE-capable phones, even though, they're not close to launching an EDGE network. In the meantime, the phones will work over GPRS. I actually like this strategy quite a bit. This means, when the time comes, they'll already have an audience who can immediately upgrade - instead of having to start all over again with new phones.
