SideKick, Other Devices Benefit The Deaf
An unexpected area where handheld devices like the Danger Hiptop are catching on is among the deaf, who find it a very useful way to communicate. The article also mentions (as was rumored here recently), that T-Mobile will soon be offering a "data-only" plan, partly because of requests from deaf users who have absolutely no need for the voice minutes. The article also mentions that the deaf community is trying to "upgrade" from RIM devices to Danger Hiptops.
