Similar to Prash's tale last month of trying to get online while traveling, Guy Kewney has written up his disastrous attempts at getting online while traveling using a laptop and a GPRS SmartPhone. Needless to say, the experience does not sound like fun. Basically, unless you have tremendous patience and an amazing amount of luck, you're probably not going to get online with a high success rate.
