Grocery Shopping With A Wireless PDA
Ever since I first got a Palm Pilot Professional in 1997, I've used a PDA when I go shopping - just to keep a shopping list. It seems such things are starting to catch on with some people - but it's not for everyone. A new set of studies found that people using wireless handhelds (connected to store networks for maps) while shopping tend to find stuff faster (as they should). They're also less likely to fall for impulse buys. However, not everyone likes carrying around the device.
