Wi-Fi In Departures, Wi-Fi In The Sky - An Industry Embraces Wireless
Finally, finally, finally, the airline industry is realizing that it makes sense to offer WiFi to travelers. As someone who is traveling right now, I can attest to just how difficult it is to find airports that offer WiFi. It appears, though, that this is quickly changing. Though, it's really talking about stories we've posted before, it's a good perspective to note how both in airport and in airplane wireless internet access seems to be progressing. Airlines and airports are finally realizing that they have a captive audience that really wants to have a connection out. Now, of course, we have to convince them not to charge ridiculously high rates.
