Wireless Carriers Thinking Young?
There had been a lot of talk about Virgin Mobile USA before they launched, as people wondered if they'd be able to replicate their success on the other side of the Atlantic. However, since launching it's seemed like they've been especially quiet. That may be changing. By focusing exclusively on young customers, Virgin Mobile USA claims they've been signing up plenty of customers. It will be interesting to see if other MVNOs start popping up in the US as well, and if they go after the same market - or cultivate other niche opportunities.
