Singapore to Introduce Ultra Wide Band Tech
Singapore is planning a big push with Ultra Wide Band (UWB) technology. The article, unfortunately, is very short on details, and basically just says they'll be running some trials, and hope the technology can make "lives simpler, more convenient and more enriching for all." Seems like a reasonable goal. Of course, how long will it be until we see tons of articles wondering if (gasp!) UWB is now a competitor to WiFi or 3G?
