Wireless Parking

In Dublin, Ireland, they've now installed a wireless payment system for parking meters, allowing users to pay for their parking spots with their mobile phones. The caller just has to call a phone number and input a specific code that's found on the meter. The charge will appear either on the caller's mobile phone bill or credit card bill. Of course, the big question I have (and why I would think such a system would be most useful) is whether or not you can "feed the meter" that way. Instead of having to run out to the parking meter every hour (or however long their maximum is), wouldn't it be great if you could just make a phone call and extend the meter?
