Latvia Hosts Phone Throwing Championship

I guess it's a sign that the mobile phone has become ubiquitous when someone holds a mobile phone throwing contest. That's right, over in Latvia they want to know just how far you can throw your mobile phone. What's scary is that the report says the winner only tossed his phone 54.9 meters, well short of the world record of 66.72 meters (which was done throwing a Nokia 5110, for those of you interested). They keep records on these things?
