Enterprise Want LAN Like WANs
The Yankee group found that 60 percent of enteprises are waiting for WANs to catch up with LAN speeds before deploying WAN based apps. This reduces the modify applications to work over slower networks and provides a more seamless user experience. So are enterprises spending anything on wireless? You bet. Yankee found that 60% of wireless data spending in 2002 and 2003 is on 802.11x networks.
