2003 Year for Verizon Wireless IPO?
Analysts think that Verizon Wireless has a shot of issuing their long awaited IPO if the economy picks up in 2003. Parent Verizon filed in 2000 and then put it off due to the slow economy. An IPO could give Verizon the resources they need to solidfy their market leader position in anticipation of industry consolidation.
