Intel Postpones Wi-Fi Chip
There's been a lot of talk in the WiFi world about how Intel is going to release their next chip with 802.11a and b included. However, it seems that those plans have to wait a little while as Intel has postponed plans to release their WiFi chip, citing both technical and regulatory issues that need to be sorted out. They now expect the chips to be available sometime next year. It sounds like this is really just a minor hurdle that will quickly be forgotten once the chips are really released.
