Canadians Fall In Love With SMS
It seems that Canadians have fallen in love with SMS messaging. In the past eight months (since the four major wireless carriers in Canada agreed to send and receive messages across all of their networks) SMS has been growing like wildfire. They say that the intercarrier messaging has led to a 98% growth in text messaging. This seems fairly obvious when you think about it... and it also makes you wonder why around the world carriers still haven't gotten their act together when it comes to cross-carrier MMS.
