Sony Pictures On mMode

Last week Sony Pictures bought a ring tone and picture messaging start up to create their wireless group. This week they follow up by announcing that they are going to sell movie related handset downloads to AT&T mMode customers. They are being very active in this space and signed a similar deal with T-Mobile. Now that people are buying color phones, the trick is to lure them with content they actually want and get them to turn on data features. Movie related content is good place to start, but it won't have huge impact till they can offer it to the prepaid youth market.
