Wireless Broadband Service Launches Down-Under
An ArrayComm subsidiary in Australia has announced their "pre-commercial" deployment of ArrayComm's i-BURST wireless broadband technology in Sydney, along with Vodafone Australia and OzEmail (among others). They say it covers approximatley 60 square miles of the city, but don't give many details on important things like how fast data is transmitted over the system. Hopefully that's part of what these pre-commercial tests are supposed to determine.
