Samsung Continues to Climb The Charts
Strategy Analytics has released its Q3 worldwide handset market share which reveals a slight increase for all players, except Sony Ericsson. The one to watch continues to be Samsung, who had 11.5 percent of Q3 shipments up from 7.4 percent for the same period last year. Samsung's performance is no surprise given the rate at which they have come out with cutting edge devices and their aggressive marketing of both CDMA and GSM handsets. Nokia is still miles ahead of everyone, but Motorola's number two position is clearly at risk.
