Wireless Messaging Behind The Firewall

One of the issues that always comes up when it comes to mobile data is the user interface for input. The tiny buttons limit surfing the web for many (though, it seems the younger you are, the less of a hassle it is). In an attempt to get around the issue for business executives, a company called Dejima is releasing a system that lets people email into their corporate systems from their phone to retrieve data, which is then sent back as an email to the phone. I can see how this might be useful in the short term, but as user interfaces become better designed, and as people get more used to using small keypads, I wonder how useful this becomes? Besides, people still have to key in their request via the email. At the same time, I also wonder if there are any security issues involved, since it's now taking information from behind a firewall and emailing it out.
