UK's Sendo Drops Microsoft Software for Nokia's
Sendo was the first handset maker to announce a device based on Microsoft's Smartphone OS. In another first, Sendo is killing their MS Smartphone plans and instead moving to Nokia Series 60 platform. The company had been struggling with its Smartphone model, the Z100, for quite some time. Given that Microsoft is an investor in Sendo this is more of an embarrassment than a long term setback for them. Microsoft already has a Smartphone device on the market with Orange. But Sendo will have to do some real work to stay relevant in the smart phone business.
