Newsweek Discovers Bluetooth
Apparently Bluetooth is now mainstream. Hell, even weekly mags like Newsweek are talking about "The Other Wireless", just at the same time as Microsoft starts to go on the offensive with their Bluetooth promotions. As someone who has a pile of cables under my desk that scares away small animals, I'm looking forward to the age of Bluetooth. It's interesting, though, that all the various Bluetooth articles these days make sure to mention that it doesn't compete with WiFi. Apparently, the powers-that-be behind Bluetooth think that's an important educational message to get out there.
