HP To Release Two New iPaqs
One of the things that HP gained from the Compaq merger was their market leading PocketPC product line. They plan to hold onto that lead with two new iPaq models. One model will be a slim low-end model for consumers. The high-end model will feature Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and fingerprint security. Having used a PocketPC with both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, I can say it works really well. I used Wi-Fi to grab email and updated Avantgo around the office. When I left the office, I used Bluetooth. This is a perfect example of how the two technologies are are complementry.
