mCommerce At The Ball Game
CellBuck is bringing mCommerce the sport statiums starting with three minor league sports stadiums in Buffalo; Bowie, Md.; and Charleston, S.C. Game attendees at these stadiums will be able to use their mobile phones to call an 800 number to order food and souvenirs and have items delivered directly to their seats. The benefit to end users is that they can use their credit cards to order and get an email receipt for the purchase. This might be useful for big groups or business users, but I'm not sure its any more efficient or easy than just waiting for the hot dog to come over for most fans.
