What Is Intel Up To?
Unstrung is running a piece that hints at big things to come from Intel for 802.11. They speculate that Intel will announce their own 802.11a/b combo chipset and move away from sourcing from other chip makers. Also check out some of the companies that Intel has invested in. While they are big believers in 802.11 they have also made some interesting Bluetooth related investments. Supporting both 802.11 and Bluetooth could ease 802.11/cellular data hand-offs.
