The Next NTT?
KDDI, Japan's number two telecom company, is projecting rosy numbers attributed to restructuring and their new 3G service. They have been more successful in attracting customers to their 3G service than DoCoMo. But what's unclear is how much of the increased earnings will come from the restructuring versus 3G. Hopefully they won't let success go to their heads and find themselves in the same position as NTT.
