Compaq Gains PDA Share
Compaq's PDA market share grew to 21% last quarter. Palm is the still the world wide leader, but has dropped 11% as its technology ages and competition heats up. The real wild card in the PDA race are smartphones. If Symbian and Nokia have their way, PDA's might not offer much of an advantage for the average user.
