The Rebel Carrier
While the other big US wireless carriers are fixed on launching 3G over the next few years, Nextel is bucking the trend and focused on growing it existing business with moderate increases in data speeds. While they have some serious debt and their unique "push to talk" technology make them an unlikely consolidation target, they have some of the best subscriber growth, APRU and churn rates of any US carrier. They must be doing something right.
