Kids and Debit Cards

from the hook-them-when-they're-young dept

Wired has an interesting article about new services that basically give debit cards to kids so they can spend online. I've seen a few of these and thought they were a good idea. I can see why some might be concerned, but I think it's a good thing if kids learn at a young age how to manage their money. Also, kids should be able to purchase things on the internet without having to use a parent's credit card.
