Broadband Over Power Lines
from the plug-in-to-connect dept
This has been talked about for a while, but I've never heard of anyone actually getting it to work. Sending data via electric power lines. Apparently a company in Dallas now has a patent for the process. I remember a European company talking about this a few years back, but their system wouldn't work in the US because of differences in the way our power grids were set up. Should be interesting to watch this technology evolve (if it does).
