China.com's Accidental Profits
from the how-to-profit-in-the-new-economy dept
This is not exactly how most internet companies plan to make a profit, but if it works... China.com made a profit this quarter because its brokers accidentally sold off too much stock. The stock then dropped substantially, and China.com bought back the portion it wanted, realizing a pretty nice profit. So, for all those other companies out there wanting to reach profitability, but who can't figure out how, just use that high flying stock, and manipulate it a little.
