Microsoft Employee Fakes Email

from the when-will-they-learn dept

Apparently, a Microsoft employee sent an email posing as an independent contractor trying to influence the press in the AOL/MSN instant messaging fight. Of course, while he used a Yahoo account, he did it from Microsoft machines and it was traced back to him. Amazing that people don't realize these things. While I doubt that this was an approved Microsoft action (would they sink that low? Really?) it does show what sort of folks they often have working there. And, you wonder why they have such a reputation for being pure evil.
