Internet Execs have just as little a clue as the rest of us

Salon has a wrapup of the Industry Standard's conference in which it seems execs made lots of jokes about themselves, but didn't do very much productive. The fact is that no one really knows what's going on. Some folks are just luckier than others, and some folks know how to capitalize on luck better than others. That's about what counts for net-smarts these days.
