CitySearch Buys Sidewalk from Microsoft

This one was rumored for a while, but since I hadn't heard anything recently, I thought maybe it wasn't going to happen. Oh well. Microsoft has given up on Sidewalk and sold it off to its only real competitor: CitySearch. I remember the hype that surrounded Sidewalk when it first came out. It was going to prove that Microsoft owned the internet. Apparently not.
