Microsoft Investing in Inprise

I was surprised that many of the articles this morning reporting about Microsoft's investment in Inprise missed the irony of the situation. Upside, however, begins to touch on it with their article. Inprise, of course, used to be Borland, and fought Microsoft all over the place. Basically, in the end, Microsoft killed them, and one of the main reasons they are so desparate for money now, is because of Microsoft.
