Former AOL Volunteers Trying to Cash In
from the greed dept
Two former AOL volunteers are suing AOL claiming they should be paid as employees. I don't know all the details, but I'm pretty sure the volunteers knew they were volunteering. I highly doubt that AOL offered them any type of employment contract. It certainly sounds like people trying to cash in from a big company. The whole concept of volunteering is that you're doing it for free.
