A good overview in the NYTimes about CDNow, and why their stock has been ignored. Brings up some very interesting points. I'd been wondering for a while why no one seemed to buy CDNow, but if you look, most retail e-commerce companies don't have the "typical" internet stock. Amazon and eBay are more the exceptions than the rule. Sure, there are plenty of ridiculous new issues, but will they stay so high? I doubt it.
