MP3.com to Go Public

MP3.com, which just raised what I thought was it's first venture round in January, has already filed to go public. Just as an initial flag, that raises some warning signs for me. However, music, and especially MP3s are hot stuff right now, and so there's certainly good reason to cash in.

Raise your standards
"...MP3.com is the next MTV..."
Does this mean that MP3.com is the next pointless exercise in hype, marketing, and complete lack of content? I hope not. One MTV is enough. They should raise their standards. :)
