Microsoft Takes Equity Stake in Nextel
from the wireless-portals-take-over dept
So, MCIWorldcom decides not to buy into Nextel? That's okay, Microsoft has money to spare, and will be using it to buy $600 million worth of Nextel stock and in return helping them build a wireless portal. Wireless portal, of course, being the hot term of the week. Someone soon is going to have to come up with a one-word term for it. I, personally, like "wortal", but don't think it will catch on.
